In April 2026, DOJ extended the ADA Title II compliance dates by one year. Large public entities now have until April 26, 2027; smaller entities and special districts until April 26, 2028. The substantive requirement (WCAG 2.1 AA for all web content and mobile apps) did not change. We can assess your app and tell you exactly where you stand.
Loweg was founded by Larry Wegener, an Android developer and accessibility consultant based in Portland, Oregon. Larry is legally blind, and has navigated the frustrations of inaccessible apps firsthand: the unlabeled buttons, the unreadable contrast, the focus traps, the TalkBack dead zones.
